Women, Now I'm Talking To YOU

And so is Barbara Ehrenreich.

And so is this feminist. And this one. And the two we quoted in yesterday's post here.

And I'm guessing none of these women are Hillary-supporters either:

And I wouldn't vote for Hillary if my very life depended on it. I'm educated. I'm literate. I care about the poor, the homeless, the disadvantaged, the refugees trying to escape religious persecution (click on the images links) the world over. I gave over $1,000 last year to help the poor. How much did you give?

I am not a racist, a bigot, an illiterate, an unwashed good-for-nothing. I hate women-abusers, of all kinds, starting with the Abuser-In-Chief, Bill Clinton, and if you don't hate him too, and his wife for trying to smear his victims and discredit their truths, then you have no business hating Trump for similar or even the same criminal and immoral acts. You must hate them all, or none at all. Otherwise, it is you who are the hypocrites, the two-faced, and everyone who has half-a-brain will realize it.

As a Catholic, I know I'm not supposed to "hate" the person, just hate what they did. But if there ever was an "irredeemable," isn't it Bill Clinton? Look at that composite photo above, again. Think of the eight lives, the eight happinesses, he ruined.

What if your face was up there? What if he'd done it to you?

Why should any man be allowed to get away with that?

Then think of how Hillary protected him, and enabled him to keep doing all that irreparable harm to women, multiple women, women just like you and me.

Then ask yourselves this question:

"Would you rather have a great airline pilot who is a jackass or a terrible pilot who is the nicest person in the world?"
Because if you loved what Bill Clinton the President did for this country, he was, and remains, the biggest jackass of them all. Bigger than Trump is.

Women, think very hard about this faux feminism. I ask you, once and for all, to stand up, really, for all of us to be free from victimization by the likes of Bill and Hillary Clinton. Don't give them carte blanche to do as they please, which is what you will do if you elect her. Don't give it to Trump either, but electing him won't give him free rein. On the contrary, he will have more checks and balances and elite opposition than any other President in recent history. Hillary and Bill have gotten away with far too much and when they are done, you will no longer recognize the country we are blessed to have now.

It isn't a choice between another male President and the first woman President.

It isn't a choice between two decent candidates. (Neither are)

It's a choice between

  1. rewarding some powerful men who grope, abuse, and rape women by force--and rewarding their wives who degrade, demean, threaten and destroy those very same victims as the means of protecting their own political and financial futures
  2. and not rewarding them.
I don't want to allow any of them to be rewarded for doing that to women. If Trump abused or forced himself on any woman, never mind bunches of them, then maybe I will just stay home, not vote, and write this country off as doomed.

But if you choose the first choice--voting for Hillary--you cannot call yourself a feminist, or supportive of women. It has to be ALL women, everywhere, even in Saudi Arabia, one of Hillary's hugest Foundation donors, or your "feminism" means absolutely nothing.

"I would now like to say a special word to women who have had an abortion...[many are] aware of the many factors which may have influenced your decision, and [do] not doubt that it was a painful and even shattering decision. The wound in your heart may not yet have healed. Certainly what happened was and remains terribly wrong. But do not give in to discouragement and do not lose hope. Try rather to understand what happened and face it honestly. If you have not already done so, give yourselves over with humility and trust to repentance. The Father of mercies is ready to give you his forgiveness and his peace...You will come to understand that nothing is definitively lost and you will also be able to ask forgiveness from your child..."

The writings expressed herein are protected expression by virtue of the First Amendment of the United States of America and by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, in particular Articles 18 and 19, signed by the U.S.A. in 1948:

1) The First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

"The Free Exercise Clause reserves the right of American citizens to accept any religious belief and engage in religious rituals. The wording in the free-exercise clauses of state constitutions that religious “[o]pinion, expression of opinion, and practice were all expressly protected” by the Free Exercise Clause.[1] The clause protects not just religious beliefs but actions made on behalf of those beliefs. More importantly, the wording of state constitutions suggest that “free exercise envisions religiously compelled exemptions from at least some generally applicable laws.”[2] The Free Exercise Clause not only protects religious belief and expression; it also seems to allow for violation of laws, as long as that violation is made for religious reasons."

2) Article 18 of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, signed by the U.S.A. in 1948, states: "Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance."

3) Article 19 of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights: "Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers."
